The Verizon-branded HTC Trophy has been in the works for a long time--Engadget first caught wind of it back in December--but despite missing the rumored March 24th launch date, new signs tease that the wait will soon be over. Early today, PocketNow noticed that Verizon's first Windows Phone showed up in Best Buy's database. Don't be scared off by the $600 price tag though, it's supposed to be a placeholder for the unsubsidized device. Then most recently, WPCentral spotted a new support forum specifically for Windows Phone 7 on Verizon's website. Clearly something is going on in the world of Big Red when it comes to Windows Phones, and hopefully that something will turn out to be a shiny new phone subscribers of the nation's largest carrier have been waiting for since last year.
