Fujitsu Windows Phone based on Android-powered Regza?

Well it appears some people still want to recycle old hardware for new phones with different software. In the past HTC has been the one most accused of this practice, but judging from that crop of teased Mango phones it appears the practice is still in full force among other OEMs too.

Now it's been revealed that the mysterious waterproof Fujitsu Windows Phone isn't so mysterious after all, almost identical to the company's own Regza T-01C. The Regza T-01C is powered by Android and features some headlining-qualitites for a smartphone: 12.2 megapixel camera, 4-inch LCD, NFC support, DLNA support, MicroSDHC support, and can go up to 1 meter underwater.

If any of those hardware features make the transition over to its Windows Phone cousin, it could be worth the wait for some. However it's become a disturbing trend lately how manufacturers are willing to commit to Windows Phone but only contribute the bare minimum. Hopefully Nokia is going to shake things up this Fall.
