Today is a proud day for me. Last night I published my 500th article here on Windows Phone Daily. That's 500 news reports, app reviews, game reviews, and editorials. That's 500 posts since the site began in February, so you know I'm taking my job seriously. I honestly can't believe the site has made it this far and I can only think of one person to thank: you.
Yeah that sounds totally corny, but if you didn't bother coming to the site and reading the content I work nearly 15 hours a day on I wouldn't even have the chance to be so sentimental. Even if you don't come everyday to read the site, I still thank you for visiting at all. Every person I reach with my writing counts in the end.
If you don't know, Windows Phone Daily is a one-man act and if the site hadn't shown such promise, I don't think I would have been able to put up with the seemingly endless amount of work. I haven't made a penny from the site yet, but I can honestly say I enjoy writing and creating for Windows Phone Daily more than anything else I've done in my life.
I have big plans for WPD too, which I'm willing to offer you a taste of today. For one, an official app is on its way and it rocks--plus there's no out-of-pocket cost to me! Second, I'm working on a big, big overhaul of the site around the time of Mango's release. The functionality will remain mostly the same, but I'm significantly upping the visual appeal of the site.
So that's pretty much all I wanted to say here. Remember to support the site by clicking on an ad occasionally. Thank you so much for visiting the site; if you keep reading, I'll keep writing. Here's to another 500!
