Weekly Poll: What feature do you want to see in Tango?

This Week's Poll
We've been hearing a lot about the still forthcoming Windows Phone Tango lately. First we heard a Compal employee slip the codename (along with Apollo), later we spotted a mysterious build number of 8200 in the wild, and only three days later we received the first (alleged) photo of one of Tango's features: content search. Earlier today we received our biggest hint at what Tango could mean for Microsoft in the long-run, with sources claiming the update will provide the framework for low-end devices and fuel Nokia's pursuit to recapture its global standing.

Putting all of that aside, let's geek out a bit. What feature do you want to see appear in Tango? We've added a few options in the poll below, like better multitasking (one of the things we hate in Mango), the inevitable Internet Explorer 10, full support for a Skype video chat client, a proper notifications screen for management, and finally better landscape support. But we've done one better: you can vote for two features in the poll! We figured some of you like more than one feature, so feel free to pick another. If you don't see one, click on 'Other' and leave a comment for us below so we can talk about it! So what are you waiting for? Vote now!

Last week's poll results for "Are you expecting a Nokia Windows Phone on August 17th?" were pretty darn interesting! Jump past the break to see them!

Last Week's Poll
Last week we asked you if you thought Nokia would really unveil a device at GamesCom 2011 on August 17th. Invitations heavily suggested it, but a day later sources denied that Nokia would. That didn't stop you from voting, and it turns out 42.86% of you think it really will happen after all. What was more interesting was the even split between Maybe and No, as both pulled in 28.57% of the votes. Well we'll see: we're only a week away from finding out!

Weekly Poll: Are you expecting a Nokia Windows Phone on August 17th?

Last Week's Poll

Well it looks like Samsung has made a strong reputation with Windows Phone users and so the Galaxy S II copycat shown off at WPC 2011 just barely beat out the highly anticipated Nokia Sea Ray by only two votes. After that, the only love left over went to the trio of HTC phones with the monstrous Eternity leading ahead of its camera-lovin' and Mozart-sequelin' brothers.

This Week's Poll

Now we've decided as a consolation prize to Nokia's loss against Samsung (in more than just this poll) we're asking you if you really expect to see a Nokia device soon. News just broke a few hours ago that claims Nokia and Microsoft are holding a shindig at Germany's GamesCom 2011 and there's a decent chance a new phone will make at least a cameo. However there's a few holes we found in the story that aren't being filled. For one, why would they tease a new device at a video game convention? Don't get us wrong, we love shooting zombies and unleashing Hadoukens as much as the next guy, but for a smartphone unveiling it's more than just a little unorthodox. Besides that we've also had our hopes up on a Nokia Windows Phone being teased early before, but clearly those rumors didn't work out despite two separate sources claiming it would happen.

So we're pretty skeptical, but forget about us for now; what do you think? Will Nokia really show off a new device at GamesCom 2011 on August 17th or is everyone getting excited over nothing?

Poll: Which Mango device are you most excited for? (Updated)

In the last two weeks there has been a lot of news related to upcoming Mango hardware. The snowball began rolling down the hill when Microsoft pulled out a surprise preview of upcoming Acer, Fujitsu, Samsung and ZTE devices at its WPC event. Then the snowball burst into a full-on avalanche when we were given our second look at Nokia's Sea Ray (this time unofficial) running what's supposedly a near-final build of Mango. We also spotted LG's Fantasy as an official render thanks to a recent leak. So now that we've already seen six unreleased devices in the wild it's time to ask the inevitable question: which one are you most excited for?

Are you a power user interested in Samsung's 'Galaxy S II' clone with Mango, or are you leaning towards the seductive LG 'Fantasy'? Then there are the more unique options like Fujitsu's waterproof IS12T or the sleek N9-mimicking Nokia 'Sea Ray' (bonus: they both probably come in pink)? Maybe you'd rather have something less dramatic and more practical, like Acer's slick and slim W4 or ZTE's solid-build mystery handset? We don't know much about any of them, but if you had to pick right now what would be your choice? Vote in our poll below!

Update: We completely forgot about HTC! We've added a trio of possible HTC Windows Phones: the Bresson, the Eternity, and the Omega.

Poll: What was your favorite Must Have Game?

Beginning on May 25th and concluding just last week, Microsoft's "Must Have Games" program for Windows Phone was pretty huge for the Xbox Live-equipped platform. We received a ton of blockbuster titles that were huge hits on other platforms, but this time they came with Xbox Live support and those precious achievements. For a recap on all of the games released during the program here's a list with links to each one's own article:

So now we wanted to know: what was your favorite 'Must Have Game'? Vote in our poll below and feel free to tell us why it's your favorite in the comments below!

Poll: How's Your Mango Update Going?

Today is the third day since Microsoft unleashed the official developer Windows Phone Mango Beta update to a giant chunk of its 36,000 developers. Since this is a developer-focused beta, it's a rough-around-the-edges ROM update. That of course means some unlucky enthusiasts may have experienced a few bumps and bruises along the way to that Mango update. Some haven't even gotten that far because their invitations have yet to arrive in their inboxes. So, we're here to ask you now: how's your Mango update going?

Vote for any options that you're closest to above and share your experience with us in the comments below!
