Developers: You probably should have gotten your Mango invite by now

Have you avoided tempting but shady methods and still eagerly awaiting your Mango Beta invite? Well...you might want to make sure you're doing everything right. Last Tuesday, Microsoft's Cliff Simpkins tweeted that, if you hadn't already received one, the rest of the invites for the Mango Beta were going to be pushed out on that Thursday, July 7th. So if you're a developer and you haven't gotten your update, something is probably wrong.

Here's a few things you can check to make sure you're actually eligible to receive the Beta:
  • Make sure you're fully registered and have cleared GeoTrust validation. You should have received emails from GeoTrust requesting documents and forms of identification. (More details here.)
  • Check if the country your account is registered in is eligible. The official supported countries are:
    • Australia, Austria, Belgium, Brazil, Canada, Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, Great Britain, Greece, Ireland, Italy, Luxembourg, Mexico, Netherlands, New Zealand, Norway, Portugal, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, United States.
  • If all else fails, contact someone at Microsoft. If you think you're registered, verified by GeoTrust, and in an eligible country, the only option you have left is to talk to someone. Try getting in touch with your local WP7 Champ.

Good luck if you haven't gotten Mango yet, and once you do tell us what you think!
