Fujitsu Windows Phone launching in August in Japan, first Mango device to hit the market?

It seems the most talk coming out of Microsoft's surprise unveiling of future Windows Phones powered by Mango has surprisingly centered around the waterproof hot-pink Fujitsu. Yesterday we discovered the device is reusing a similar shell as the Android-powered Regza T-01C handset and now today we've received the device's model number and possible release date, becoming what could be the first second-generation Windows Phone.

Yes, Japanese carrier KDDI seems to have announced the upcoming release of the network's first Metro-lovin' phone in the Fujitsu IS12T and a late August timeframe for its launch. Unfortunately, that's all the carrier has announced likely respecting the manufacturer's plans to unveil the device on its own terms. It looks like rumors of Microsoft launching Mango devices in time for September may just come true after all.
