New Marketplace website 'Touchality' launched, find your apps the slickest way possible

In case you didn't know, there are a lot of awesome web-based app repositories across the web that you can use instead of launching the Marketplace in the Zune software or using your phone. The three big ones are AppsFuze, Windows Phone Applist, and WP7AppList. These sites have gotten so popular, even Microsoft is throwing its hat into the ring with their own official web-based Marketplace.

Well you have another new option to peruse your apps from the convenience of a browser, and it may just be the nicest-looking one yet. Touchality has just launched its Marketplace search in beta form to the public and it appears to be the most minimal app repository of all the options available. Search results show plenty of information upfront, common listviews like 'Top Rated' help keep track of what's hot in the Windows Phone world, and app pages are neatly formatted and sensible. Of course since this is still a beta there are features missing compared to other sites, like the lack of any kind of search filtering, and a few hiccups like random syntax errors popping up and crashing out of the site.

Still, we can't help but think Touchality is really onto something here. As much as we enjoy other app repositories, sometimes it feels like they throw too much in your face at once. This new minimalist take which nicely compliments Metro seems like a more logical approach. Anyway, enough babbling from us--go check out Touchality for yourself.
