The Dark Forces Team (aka DFT) have made good on their promise and have cooked up a new ROM for all of you HD2 owners craving those Mangoes. Dubbed
"Green Mango", the ROM includes five languages built in and so far there are a few hiccups (Marketplace is not working, storage issues, general bugginess). It also seems to be based on an older build of Mango and not the Developer Beta (notice the different Games Hub, the lack of multitasking animations, and more). But if you're still willing to give things a go,
Pocketnow has a quick tutorial on their site for those who need a few pointers before getting in on the action as well as a video , so feel free to check that out
here.
HD2 owners, are you willing to embrace the platform that left you behind? Would Mango be enough to sway you into Microsoft's hand or do you desire the passionate, creative tinkering that Android, MeeGo and Symbian provide? Tell us in the comments below.
