One of the features that we've been dying to see in all smartphones (an even regular phones) is visual voicemail. Trust us, it's infinitely more useful than having to dial through an automated system that takes five hours to get through. It was confirmed to be included in Mango, but Microsoft had not shown off the feature before...until now. Thanks to the Mango developer beta, WMPU snapped photos of the feature activated
It's great to see actual live photos of visual voicemail in action, but you may notice that the device is one on T-Mobile. How about other carriers? Well after checking through a thread about the matter on XDA-Developers it's clear that not every carrier is on board with the feature for Windows Phones yet. So far it looks like they have to flip a switch on their side in order to get the feature working, which means you're stuck if your carrier restricts visual voicemail to the iPhone and their BlackBerrys (*cough*AT&T*cough*).
