Macvide has released FlashVideo Converter 2.3, an update to the Flash-to-video conversion utility for Mac OS X. FlashVideo Converter lets Mac users running Tiger or higher convert any Adobe Flash file such as .swf, .flv to common video format files such as mp4 (iPod Video), MOV (QuickTime), 3GP (cellular and mobile), ASF/WMV and the usual MPEG files as well.
FlashVideo Converter also allows user interaction on Flash content during conversion thanks to some new functionality added in version 2.0. Using the app, you can convert your favorite flash movies to create your own video or DVD collection. FlashVideo Converter lets you capture flash content in regular video formats that your Mac or portable device can play (without requiring an Internet connection).

A demo version of the software is available for free download via the same address. The unregistered version adds a logo to the output video. The Universal app requires at least Mac OS X 10.4.
