That headline is a mouthful, but it's exactly what it says: Microsoft just announced the Release Candidate of the new Windows Phone 7 Connector designed to work with your Windows Home Server. The Release Candidate will support numerous WHS 2011 features like alerts, user management tasks, device management, full MP3 streaming and library support, photo support including the ability to upload pictures from the phone to the server, and full support for streaming video. The app also have a very slick live tile which presents some useful info like how much storage is being used and any network health alerts. If you've got a setup with WHS 2011 and you'd like to see some better integration with your Windows Phone, check out the Windows Home Server site.
