'Calendar Calculator' Makes Waiting For Your Birthday a LOT Harder

Why is there only one day in the year when you get presents, cake, and unconditional love just for existing? I just don't get it. If birthdays are awesome (which they are) and if everyone loves birthdays (which they do), why can't each person have birthdays more often? Sure, the whole point of a birthday is to celebrate the moment of your birth into this world but that's not exactly something you want to celebrate anyway. You were fine in your mother's womb, but then life grabs you by the umbilical cord and all of a sudden it's cold and you're crying. That's not something I want to think about when I'm fifty. And don't get me started on leap year babies (poor bastards). But hey since birthdays are only one day in the year, watching the days wind down with Gus Perez's Calendar Calculator may help fill the void. Here's the app description:

Calendar Calculator is a simple and easy-to-use app that lets you track and count down the number of days to a specific date of your choosing. It supports days (including weekend days) or just weekdays (business days). It's great for counting down the days to holidays, trips, events, due dates, deadlines, or work milestones.

It also provides answers to a lot of questions you frequently have around dates. Ever need to know how many days are between two dates? What date is it exactly sixty days from today? How many weekdays till the end of the month? Calendar Calculator can provide answers to all of those questions in just a couple taps.

Features include:
- Tracks countdowns to an upcoming event, deadline, etc.
- Tracks days since an important historical or personal date
- Option to just count weekdays/business days or calendar days
- Calculate date given a start date and number of days to add
or subtract
- Calculate difference between two dates; detailed answer
includes total calendar days, weekdays, weeks + days, and
estimated number of months
- Determine date given a start date and number of weeks to
add or subtract
- Share list of countdown entries via email (for backup or
sharing)
- Full support for international date formats and day names
- Supports Light and Dark themes
- Trial version supports tracking up to three events

I've been toying around with this little app for a few days and I have to say it's genuinely more useful than a normal calendar. Seeing just how much time you have before you get screwed on an assignment is a nice way to manage a hectic lifestyle. Calendar Calculator is available in the Marketplace for $1.29 and includes a free trial. Start counting down the days until your birthday by clicking on the tile below.
