LazyWorm's YouTube Updated to v2.4, Mango-Friendly v3.0 on the Way

One of our favorite and most highly-recommended apps are LazyWorm's YouTube clients. They include both the paid-for LazyTube for $0.99 and the ad-free, price-free YouTube. Both have followed very close development cycles and share a majority of the same features with one another, but recently LazyTube has moved ahead with its own premium features that their YouTube app had not received. Until now that is, with the free YouTube client receiving its own v2.4 update. Some features are currently exclusive to YouTube while others have trickled down from LazyTube although they have been somewhat limited. However, LazyWorm is still throwing in some nice functionality for an app that makes them absolutely no money which is a lot to ask from any developer. Check out the update in action above and see a quick list of new additions below.

What's new:
  • Live tile push notifications (up to 3 subscriptions)
  • Volume slider on video playback player for fine tuning
  • Option to not sync video history with Music and Video hub

Let's forget about the present for now. What are LazyWorm's apps going to look like in the brave new world of Mango? Good news: they've dropped us a line to let us know they're hard at work at v3.0 updates for both YouTube and LazyTube. Bad news: we actually have to wait until Mango to see it for ourselves! Hopefully that won't be much longer anyway so we can get our hands on some major additions to LazyWorm's phenomenal apps. Coming back down to reality, if you've been looking for a YouTube app we recommend you check out the LazyWorm's free app for yourself by clicking on the tile below.
