HTC Ruby might be a Windows Phone, definitely is stylish

We've always said that Windows Phone needs to have some interesting hardware in order to stand out among the flood of generic Android slabs. Now we've spotted interesting photos of a stylish new HTC phone and there's a good chance it could be Microsoft-friendly. The phone is seen in the reflection of an HTC Flyer tablet in multiple photos uploaded to Flickr by user "Raymi0402" and according to the EXIF Info, the device is identified as the HTC Ruby. That's notable because the HTC Ruby was originally rumored to be Sprint's first Windows Phone and after the release of the HTC Arrive many assumed the codename was retired.

Now that this device has emerged with the same name, it's possible it could also be a Sprint Windows Phone. Unfortunately we can't tell much about the device, even the megapixel count is unknown because every photo is at the basic 368 x 640 resolution. It is worth mentioning though that the Ruby could very well be an Android or Brew device--the only reason Windows Phone is also speculated is due to the history behind the Ruby codename. With Mango hardware news slowly but surely trickling out and the first device to be fully exposed next week, we may not have to wait much longer to see if this Ruby shines with Windows Phone on it.
