It's only fitting that within the same week we got our first real in-depth glimpse at the next step for Windows Phone that the Marketplace reaches a truly astonishing new milestone. Get ready for it people, because the Windows Phone Marketplace now offers--wait for it--20,000 apps worldwide!
Windows Phone 7 launched in the middle of November and so in about a little over 7 (!) months it has reached this tremendous milestone. Windows Phone is only 1,000 apps from becoming the legal drinking age! Well we think we know who to thank for Windows Phone's rousing success: developers, developers, developers!
