LazyWorm's YouTube Updated to v2.3

If you read our War of the Tubes feature, you'd know that we're pretty fond of what LazyWorm has accomplished with their pair of YouTube apps for Windows Phone. Well last night YouTube, their free app, was updated to version 2.3 and brings along some welcome improvements. The update isn't as monumental as 2.2 was, but it does fix a few things we noted in our time with the app. Here's what's changed:

New features
- Play videos under lock
- Play YouTube links/URL's (paste into search)

Improvements
- Twitter sharing fixed
- New about page
- Remembers video position under lock

The ability to play videos under the lock screen will probably be quite useful to those wanting to stream YouTube's huge collection of music. We're also glad to see the Share to Twitter feature fixed, which was accidentally broken by the last update according to LazyWorm Apps. The update hasn't hit the HD-streaming LazyTube yet, but we're just going to assume it's because of the Marketplace approving the two at different times. If you haven't tried out the app yet, read our review of v2.2 and visit the app in the Marketplace by clicking on the tile below.
