Microsoft's 'Dotastic' social to-do app pulled from the Marketplace

This past Sunday, Microsoft's FUSE Labs release an app called 'Dotastic' to the Marketplace. However, there were a few oddities users noticed with the app that suggested this may have been unfinished. First of all, you couldn't connect your Facebook account to the app due to a 'server error'. Second, the official website still says coming soon. Third, the UI you see above looks like an iOS app rather than a Metro-styled one. Then late last night when we tried the app again ourselves, we were finally able to connect the app to Facebook but we then saw a new page load up saying something similar to: "It looks like your account was not whitelisted. Please request access using the link below. -FUSE Labs"

Well it looks like Dotastic really wasn't finished as it has now vanished from the Marketplace. The link we posted in our previous article still works, but the download link has been removed. Maybe Microsoft was trying to make use of that Beta app publishing feature before it was completed last night. Despite this hiccup, we're still looking forward to trying Dotastic when it's finished.
